I am back in South Africa, back at Alabanza! Things have been going so great, God has really been doing some amazing things, He has taught me and everyone on my team such much already. I feel so blessed to be here, for my parents letting me take this oppurtunity! I am falling in love with Africa and the people here, but I miss everyone from home! We got back to South Africa on Monday and have been back to doing ministry… I’ve been to a place called Mamelodi, which is a township about an 1 1/2 hours away – we work with some kids at an after-school-kind of program, yesterday there was a boy there who was nearly one or two years old and very very sick with some kind of respirtory problem with his breathing, he was so sick he didn’t even have the ability to physically cry. Please pray for healing. I’ve also been working at another township that is about five minutes from Alabaza called Atteridgeville (these townships are very poor and most houses are made out of wood and tin roofs or mud houses)

That’s all I can think of as for now- but thank you for all your prayers and for commenting on my blog I really enjoy it! You can mail me anything you would like (wink wink)

Love you all and miss you!

  1. Hi Bailey,

I am so glad that your experience seems to be starting so well and that you are putting yourself in a position to be used by God in a very immediate way.

I have included you in my prayers everyday and I know YOU are impacting the lives of everyone you meet during this experience.

Keep up the good work and remember all the support you have back home!

    God bless and keep you!!!

  3. Hey Bailey,
I just found my way to your blog for the first time. Your mom showed me when we were in Ohio, but I forgot. So I just googled you and here you are! I want to tell you that we think of you every day and are so very proud of what you are doing. Please be safe and keep us all posted on your adventures as much as possible. I’m very anxious to see any pictures you happen to take of course. Well, we miss you and love you so very much. Gaddy sends his love and pride to you as well. I will give him your snail mail address. Take care!
